Managing Your Brand with Google Alerts

Have you ever wondered what people are saying about you, your brand, or products?  One way to monitor this would be to "google" these items occasionally and see what comes up but there is an easier way to keep your finger on the pulse of Google.

If you have a Google account you can select specific words and create a "Google Alert" for each.  Google then monitors itself based on your alert terms and emails you an update whenever relevant content emerges.  It is simple to do and you can select the frequency at which you receive the reports--as they happen, once daily or weekly.

To set these up simply go to Google Alerts, enter the search term then select the type of result, frequency and volume.  The alerts will be delivered to the email associated with your account.  Click "create alert" and you are done!  Sit back and let Google work for you!
